When you are ready to work, open pomodoro.increaser.org and press the rocket button.
Let the app to tell you when the set is over by allowing browser notifications. During Pomodoro set, be focused on your work and keep all distractions off, be it Instagram, emails, coworkers, or negative thoughts.
After Pomodoro set, you can take a rest for five, ten, or fifteen minutes and the app will tell you when to come back to work. If you don’t feel like taking a break, you can start a new set right away.
To be more efficient with the time, you need to be aware of how you are working during the day or week, and how much time you are giving to each project. To analyze such data and improve the way you approach the work, you need to sign up in the app. There are no forms to fill, and it takes a single click. After sign up, you got access to the statistics page and other useful features.
At the bottom of the page, you could find a timeline showing what time you were working during the day. To see how you are allocating the time between activities, you need to select what project you were working on in the last set.
On the statistics page, you can see if you are pushing hard enough this week in comparison to previous ones. You may realize that you are giving too much time for one project and too little to another by looking at the project’s time distribution and piechart. To find out where you are losing your edge during the day and which patterns are unproductive, you need to look closely at timelines and decide how you can change the way you structure the day.
