Increaser

In this story, I want to tell you about new changes that were made in the Increaser, what is the current state of the app, and what I am going to do the next month.

This Month

March is coming. After two more months, I will make a decision — should I continue working on Increaser, or move to the next thing. But until that day, I don’t second doubt and working hard on Increaser.

November was all about converting more visitors to signed-up users. I started with integrating Heap analytics into the app to have clear metrics for improvement.

Sign Up Funnels

To improve the conversion metric, I updated the signup flow to make it more clear to the visitor. I tested different options, and now it is a modal that takes the full size of the page.

Also, I’ve made the app show popup to visitors after the set is over, asking them to sign up. In the last week, 19 users registered from the popup, so I think it was a good move.

This month I recorded a video explaining how to use the app so that visitors can check it out and decide if they need the app or not.

Before starting recording the video, I updated the main page so that it is more comfortable to use, especially after the end of the set.

Nice Main Page

Page with features was always confusing, and this month I finally redesigned it. Now it looks more like a Trello board.

Features Page

This month I get rid of a useless email message that was asking disappeared users for feedback. For the whole time of its existing nobody responded. Now the app will send emails to users with a free trial for two more weeks.

An Email With Free Trial

Some people, after they registered in the app, may forget about it. To increase the probability of them sticking to the habit of tracking their time, I started a follow-up email sequence. Content for these emails will come from the Increaser Mindset series.

A Piece From the First Follow-Up Email

Before Pomodoro by Increaser, there was Increaser. It was a similar app with tasks, projects, and advanced statistics. But it was a failure. Around one year ago, I decided to start over and called the app Pomodoro by Increaser. It was a stupid name, and this month I decided to destroy the old app and renamed the new app to Increaser.

Current State

Al indicators continue going down, and there are only five members right now. There are 2341 registered users right now.

Indicators Continue Going Down

Next Month

In the next month, I will continue trying different approaches to increase the conversion rate. I will write four more messages for the follow-up sequence. Also, I will try to explore other ways to acquire more users and improve retention. After that, I will think about making the statistics page bring more value.

That all, if you enjoy the app — please support it. You can always reach me by email(geekrodion@gmail.com) if you have any questions or ideas. Stay productive!
